The BellCare ATC (Anytime Clinic) Project is an innovative healthcare initiative designed to ensure round-the-clock medical access for tribal students across India. These ATCs are being deployed within Ekalavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) to serve as the first point of contact for preventive care, minor ailments, diagnostics, and teleconsultation. Each ATC is equipped with essential medical devices, digital health tools, and connectivity to enable virtual consultations with doctors, ensuring timely, accessible, and continuous healthcare support to students without the need for immediate travel
Functioning on a hub-and-spoke model, the school-based ATCs are digitally linked to Mandal or District-level Hub Hospitals, where specialists are available for advanced consultation, referrals, and emergency interventions. This integrated approach enables scalable, quality-assured healthcare delivery, particularly in remote and tribal regions. By bridging the healthcare gap through a tech-enabled system, the BellCare ATC project ensures that every tribal student receives consistent, high-quality medical attention, thereby promoting healthier educational environments and long-term well-being.
